We’ve reached the end of the year. Dark nights and bright lights characterize this season. As we move through the hustle and bustle all around us, we are also taking this time to reflect on the many gifts we have received or experienced throughout 2023.
Engagement and Support
We are fortunate, first and foremost, to have been the recipient of so much community support this year. In the last quarter alone, community groups raised over $4000 for MHAGC’s programs and services, including the Upstate’s 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline call center. We are grateful beyond words to have these supportive partners and look forward to reaching further into the community in the year ahead. Read more about giving here.
A New Look for a New Year
We are also excited to announce that we’ve updated our website! The new site has launched, and thanks to an updated platform, we are able to add and update content in timely and flexible ways. The development of a new website was fostered by our desire to bring you up-to-date news and information about our programs and services as well as in-person and online events related to mental health. Please check out this quick tour of the new site and enjoy some time clicking through the pages.
Presence and Perseverance
We are proud to be present for our community at all times but especially at a time of year that comes with both inherent joys and seasonal pressures and challenges. We recognize how critical a supportive presence can be at the holidays. Please check out some articles, resources, and events that center mental health at the holidays.
May your winter days be filled with exactly what you need to see you through, and if you or a loved one is struggling, please remember that we’re here 24/7/365 on our 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. Please be in touch.
